Meghan Englert, LMFT

Supporting the people who support children and families.
With a background in child and family mental health and parenting, I bring a thoughtful, practical perspective to organizations and projects working with children, parents, and families.

About Me
Clinical Experience. A Practical Perspective. A Human Approach.
A Little About Me
I'm Meghan Englert, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) with a career rooted in understanding people, relationships, and what helps families thrive.
My path has taken me from early childhood education to child and family therapy, play-based approaches, couples therapy, and parent support. These experiences have shaped how I think about mental health, behavior, and the importance of connection.
Today, I bring that experience to independent consulting and parent consultation, combining clinical knowledge with a practical, real-world perspective.
I'm especially drawn to work that makes mental health more accessible, helps organizations better support people, and recognizes the role connection and play have in our lives.
I'm also a parent myself, which keeps me grounded in the reality that useful support needs to work in everyday life—not just in theory.
Independent Consulting
Bringing a clinical and child-and-family perspective to meaningful work.
I partner independently on projects where my experience in mental health, child development, parenting, and family relationships can make a difference.
As an LMFT, I look beyond what's happening on the surface to understand the people, experiences, and needs behind it. I bring that clinical perspective to projects focused on supporting people, strengthening relationships, and making mental health knowledge more accessible.
Clinical expertise
Bringing my mental health background to projects that benefit from a deeper understanding of people, behavior, and relationships.
Building better systems
As AI becomes a bigger part of how people find information and support, I’m interested in helping shape thoughtful, responsible approaches that keep human needs at the center.

Making mental health more accessible
I'm passionate about helping make mental health knowledge and support easier for people to understand and access.
Connection and play
Helping others recognize how connection, relationships, and play shape our lives—and why they matter at every age.
For Parents
Sometimes, you just need another perspective.
Parenting can bring questions that are hard to sort through on your own. Maybe you're struggling with a behavior, feeling stuck in the same pattern, wondering how best to respond, or unsure what kind of support your child needs.
As an LMFT with a background in child and family mental health, I offer individual parent consultations to help you step back, make sense of what's happening, and consider practical next steps.
These sessions are designed to offer perspective and direction—not judgment or a one-size-fits-all parenting formula.
Your one-hour consultation includes:
A focused conversation: Time to discuss your concerns, understand the situation, and identify what may be contributing to the challenges you're experiencing.
A written session summary: A recap of key takeaways and ideas discussed.
Practical tips, when applicable: Suggestions tailored to your concerns and circumstances.
Referrals, when appropriate: Guidance toward additional resources or professional support if your family would benefit from it.
Consultation fee: $75 for 60 minutes
Sessions are for parent consultation and guidance, not ongoing psychotherapy, diagnosis, or crisis support. If your concerns require a different level or type of care, I can help identify appropriate next steps and referrals.
